Mallorca beautifully restored old estate house situated in the Western part of Mallorca, on the edge of the wonderful range of mountains that run along the north-west coast of Mallorca, the Sierra de Tramuntana. The original construction is some 700 years old with stone walls. The owners have managed to keep many of the traditional features of the original building - arched and vaulted ceilings, the oil press, rooms for storage of the oil and other features of the house. All the rooms have been furnished with antique Mallorca-furniture and the whole property has a great deal of character and charm. The house is arranged over two floors and on the ground floor is to be found all the communal rooms. A very large open fireplace, a spacious hall, the old olive press ... All the rooms have windows or balconies with lovely views to the mountains.The quietness is amazing. The Port of Sóller is at only 15 minutes drive. The nearest Golf field is at 15 minutes.
Accommodation Details
On the ground floor is to be found all the communal rooms. There is a large vaulted dining room, an original and very large open fireplace, a spacious hall, the old olive press with all its working parts intact. The kitchen has two dishwashers, two fridges and is fully equipped. In the dining room you'll find all plates, glasses and cutlery for about forty people.
Half way up the stairs there is a small landing area that leads off to a double en suite room with a small lounge area that can accommodate two extra beds if required.
On the first floor there are seven delightful double rooms each with en suite bathroom. There is also a spacious common room with Sat TV (Hispasat), DVD and CD Player, which leads to the exterior of the house, gardens and the swimming pool. All the rooms have windows or balconies with lovely views to the mountains and open countryside.
A delicious breakfast is included in the price, and other meals are available upon request and for an additional cost.
All the rooms have been furnished with antique Mallorquin furniture and the whole property has a great deal of character and charm.
There is a separate unit at the back of the property that has recently been restored offering three additional bedrooms, each sleeping two people all with en suites, dining-living area, and an integrated kitchen. Therefore, this property now offers eleven bedrooms, and eleven bathrooms.
